Les Tilleuls Bed and Breakfast holiday accommodation is located in the Lot department of the Midi-Pyrenees region of southwest France. Also traditionally known as the Quercy region we are located south of Sarlat and Rocamadour and north of Cahors. Our Bed and Breakfast Accommodation is in easy reach of the Dordogne valley. We offer short break holidays, long weekend holidays so that you can get a taster of what the midi-pyrenees SW France area has to offer. Sarlat, Cahors and Rocamadour are only three of numerous lovely villages and towns. French breaks in our BandB offers such things as trail riding, fishing, canoeing or cycling. Or you can wander around any number of lovely chateaux or traditional french food markets. Les Tilleuls bed and Breakfast accommodation is your perfect base.

For the month of July 2008 we are offering the special room rate of 45 euros per night (minimum 3 nights) or 300 euros per week

The Property

Les Tilleuls is a traditional Quercy farmstead, consisting of a small three roomed cottage, which dates back to the 17th century. This has now been converted into a comfortable two bedroom house. In the courtyard between the cottage and the 19th century barn is a traditional Quercy gariotte (pictured right), these were believed to have been used as shepherd's lambing huts. Next to the gariotte is a magnificent Ash tree which we believe to be at least 500 years old. The barn has been renovated into our house and the bed and breakfast accommodation, which has its ownyour bed and breakfast has a 400 year old "gariotte' in the grounds entrance, is a converted stable annexed to the barn. 

Accommodation details

The bed and breakfast has a 6.5m x 4m private dining/living room with round dining table which seats up to 4 people. In the living area there are two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa-bed, a music system and British satellite television are available for your enjoyment. The 5m x 4m double bedroom has a very comfortable king sized bed, with views over the gardens and hills beyond. Although the bed & breakfast is set up for couples a third and fourth person can be accommodated on a single bed and sofa-bed, through special arrangement. There is a separate bathroom with shower. 

Outside there is a private terrace which can be used for bar-b-ques and outside relaxing. There is a 5 metre round saltwater above ground swimming pool with a decked area for sunbathing. We regret that this property is not suitable for children and is set up to provide a stress-free getaway for couples.

We provide bathroom towels and change the bedding every week. Please bring your own pool towels.
